If you leave in Jakarta please stay healthy and avoid to be sicked - becoming sick is quite expensive to start off you can easily spend over 100.000 rupiahs.
The way to go about it is to visit public health center (puskesmas) around your area to get early treatment and medicine, roughly you just need to pay around 2000 rupiahs.
So don't hesitate to visit puskesmas near you, hear the addres of puskesmas dki and phone numbers.

Busway - no way

Finally the Jakarta police and local DKI government fed up and give up with the pressured they received from any directions in response to the city’s worsening traffic congestion. The busway corridors are now opened to the public traffic on specific times when traffic congestion occurs in the morning and evening hours, this policy has became active as of Monday Nov 12 and will be reviewed for one month. Although the transportation experts are criticized this recent policy as this makes the busway system no different to other public transportation modes in the city but I still believe this is the right thing to do given the busway system is not completely a replacement of current bus system, furthermore I don’t think there are a feeder system to support the busway system. A decent feeder system should be in place in every corridor to support the busway system so that people would prefer to use this public transportation.

I've successfully blogging from my curve blackberry, however i was not able yet to upload pictures if I use both google mobile and yahoo mobile. Seems that feature does not exist yet unless I use the blackberry mail application.

Pepper

Pepper is our lovely cat who just turned to 1 years old on 25th Oct. We adopted her from one of pet shops in Block M plaza almost 3 months ago, since then she becomes our new family member who gets special attention from everyone at home everyday.
She is a tabby cat, a cat with a distinctive coat that features stripes, dots, or swirling patterns. According to The Cat Fanciers Association I think she is a classic tabby which has a similar 'M' pattern on the head, but the body markings are very different, having a whorled and swirled pattern with thicker stripes and has a "butterfly" patterns on her shoulder, it is similar like American shorthair.
Last Thursday, 8th Nov, she got very sick - diarrhea quite badly and vomiting, I had to rush from office and absent from my weekly call with my team, grab her from home and brought her to her vet She got 1 shot and anti-diarrhea tablet immediately. Unfortunately, the diarrhea did not stop until Sunday, so we brought her again to the vet (my vets - jl. kemang selatan 8 no. 7a), she got 2 shots (antibiotic and vitamin) and anti-diarrhea tablet from her vet. I think this time the treatment works for her, she is back at her normal eating behaviour - which is good her and we are very happy to see this development

Oh Jakarta

Sepertinya sumpah serapah terjadi setiap hari di jalanan Jakarta, terutama pengguna jalan di Jakarta. Kemacetan yang semakin parah terjadi setiap hari; waktu, tenaga dan uang terbuang percuma dijalanan. Penyebab semakin parahnya kemacetan ini apalagi kalau bukan pembangunan jalur bus-way di beberapa lokasi yang dilakukan serentak untuk mengejar target peresmian awal tahun 2008. Belum lagi penolakan warga perumahan Pondok Indah yang diikuti dengan penutupan beberapa jalur alternatif disekitar perumahan tsb memperparah kemacetan di Pondok Indah, lebak bulus, ciputat,kebayoran lama dan sekitarnya.
Saran dari beberapa teman adalah apabila anda tidak mau stress, depresi, sesak napas dan nyeri dada, hindari jalanan Jakarta pada hari kerja Senin hingga Jumat. Bekerjalah sibisa mungkin dirumah, gunakan saja alat komunikasi seperti telepon, teleconference, handphone, internet, sms untuk berhubungan dengan kawan bisnis anda.
Oh Jakarta......

Masih Adakah Rasa Malu?

Sungguh sangat mengenaskan sekali kalau rasa malu itu sudah tidak ada pada diri kita. Mungkin sebuah cermin sudah tidak dapat lagi untuk "mevisualisasikan" apa yang kita telah perbuat.
Keinginan untuk mempertahankan kekuasaan dengan tidak lagi mengikuti aturan yang ada sungguh sangat memuakan.
Itulah yang terlihat dengat kasat mata apa yang terjadi dengan pengurus PSSI (Nurdin Halid cs) dalam mempertahankan kekuasaan. Sudah jelas dinyatakan bersalah oleh MA dengan kekuatan hukum yang tetap dan mendekam kembali di penjara masih saja bertahan.
Sepertinya pengurus di PSSI tidak bermasalah apabila dipimpin oleh seorang narapidana dari balik jeruji penjara. Bagaimana generasi muda melihat sosok ini, apakah dia masih bisa mendapatkan "surat berkalakuan baik" yang selalu diterbitkan oleh kepolisian untuk bekerja?
Yah, rasanya malu itu mahal di negeri ini.

Memulai lagi

Setelah hampr setahun tidak aktif, saya mencoba memulai lagi untuk menulis di pernak-pernik ini. Apa yg menjadi perhatian sehari-hari coba dituangkan disini, dari pada "ngedumel" dibelakang setelah membaca koran hari ini, akan saya komentari apa yg menarik hari ini di koran kompas dan lainnya. sepertinya yg menarik untuk disimak cerita tentang PSSI vs FIFA.
Wah menarik nih untuk dibahas, apalagi di koran kompas hari ini secara khusus 3 halaman membahas opini dari beberapa orang.
